Rhonda is a graduate of Bethel University with a degree in Mathematics and an emphasis in Secondary Education. She received her Master of School Mathematics degree from Iowa State University.
Rhonda taught for 33 years in the Orion School District and after “retirement” sought a teaching position in a Christian school. She has been teaching at Morning Star Academy, a Classical Christian school in Bettendorf, Iowa since the Fall of 2019.
Rhonda attends First Evangelical Free Church in Moline, Illinois, which she has attended since she was born! She serves as a member of the worship team, as a member of the Adult Education Committee, teaches adult Sunday school classes, and leads women’s Bible study. She has written studies for the women on Habakkuk, Ruth, Esther, Ephesians, 2 Timothy, James, Jude, and 1 John.
In 2014 Rhonda was involved in a near death accident which God has used to draw Rhonda to this ministry. She would tell you that He literally used the accident to change her priorities and to draw her to her true spiritual gifting - teaching.
Rhonda finds great satisfaction in deeply studying Scripture and has a passion for teaching others how to do so.
